Anasazi, AdobeTaos, Santa Fe, Mesa VerdeOctober 2001by Shayok Mukhopadhyay |

In fall of 2001, my parents came from India to visit us for a month. I wanted to give them a tour of the south-west in a week combining tried-and-tested attractions (anything in the vicinity of Moab, Utah) with new places so that there would be something in it for Revathi and me too.
The following album is the result: flying into Denver, Colorado, driving (almost) straight down to Taos, then Santa Fe, then up and west to Chaco Canyon, and Mesa Verde; then to Moab for Shayok's Best of the West in Twenty-Four Hours: sundown at Arches, sunup at Dead Horse Point, rest of the day in the Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands; followed by a six hour death march to catch the night flight from Denver.
